The presentation about supply chain was very interesting for me and my carrier. That is part of management of the organization that offers products and service. It is part of the company strategy. That is part of the industrial engineering carrier but also is use in business administration.
In a supply chain there are six steps that if a company follow are going to be the key for grow and maintain of product in a corporation:
• Manage variability; support the increasing of software complexity
• Control complexity, is objective and empirical assign numbers to a process and describe them
• Synchronize activities, categorize and optimize the activities
• Resolve Constraints, resolve problem that isn’t normally or eventually
• Match cost to the business
• Account for market and environment
The company that works with this technique helps the organization to have more order and information of all the process that they do. The process that realize in Intel Co. is of plan, source, make, deliver and return. Is an important enterprise and worry about all the process that the company makes. They are in charge of all, start from bring the material of other continent to give the product to consumer.
The guy came to gave us the presentation know a lot about the theme and explain very well step by step how those process are doing in the company he works. Supply chain is a group of organizations, people, technology, activities, information and resources involved in moving a product or service from supplier to customer
The organization of the activity was out of order at begging. The class is to little for do this activity; a lot of people enter after four the activity began 20 minutes later the hour that was planning. The people was in charge of this activity have to be more organize because is not serious that the university has invite a person came to transmits his knowledge, he came at time and later has to wait.
